The event definitely lived up to their motto as the “ultimate import attraction” and featured some truly hot imports that would blow you away. Amazing cars, music and people made for a great night that was well worth the ticket price.
WHAT IS HOT IMPORT NIGHTS?
Hot import nights is one of the leading automotive lifestyle events, putting on some of the hottest indoor and outdoor festivals for real import automotive aficionados who absolutely LOVE their cars. These events are produced by HIN and are based out of Southern California, but have events across the nation on a year round basis. Over the years the events have continued to gain headway and are now attended by regulars as well as a host of new-comers each year.
MGP CALIPER COVERS AT HOT IMPORT NIGHTS IN DEL MAR
This year MGP had a booth at the Hot Import Nights event and met some really amazing people with truly awesome vehicles. There was a host of custom builds that with fully customized interiors, exteriors, engines, audio and much more.

CHRIS’S BEAUTIFUL BENZ – NOKTURNAL AT HOT IMPORT NIGHTS SAN DIEGO
Our great friends from Nokturnal were at the event and Chris had his tricked out Mercedes-Benz sporting some red MGP caliper covers to perfectly match his customized ride. One thing that really stuck out about this car was the way the rims and caliper covers shined in tires because the rims actually had red lighting (See images below) and it was very unique compared to other vehicles at the event. It is clear that a lot of time, effort and energy was put into this car and from the result it was well worth it. STORMTROOPER BRANDON AT HOT IMPORT NIGHTS SAN DIEGO
While walking around the event and talking to everyone we had to stop and check out Brandon’s decked out Stormtrooper Scion. His car definitely stuck out as the only car at the event with the Stormtrooper theme and I would say he represented them well. Although the Stormtrooper is often known for white and black colors, Brandon changed to the white to red in order to match up with his car and even ordered a new custom Stormtrooper set of caliper covers in red with black engraving after the event.
I am certain Brandon’s car makes heads turn every time he drives down the street, especially at night with the red lights surrounding every window, the door handles and below the car. Thanks Brandon for supporting MGP Caliper Covers!

DAYTONA DODGE CHARGER AT HOT IMPORT NIGHTS SAN DIEGO
Unfortunately, I was not able to speak to the owner of this Daytona themed Dodge Charger, but we had to give him a shout out for sporting some custom Daytona engraved custom caliper covers. The style, lighting and color scheme for this ride is great and really comes together well. Thinking about it, the Stormtrooper theme would also work well with the black and white color scheme, but it looks like a perfect fit for the pacing car at Daytona as it is. In the end, Hot Import Nights in Del Mar turned out to be a great event with a lot of awesome people and hot imports that were truly incredible. The best part was that it was right in our backyard here in San Diego where Caliper Covers are manufactured and sold.
