R&D Vehicles Needed
We are continuously working to engineer and produce products for new and upcoming makes and models. This means we are regularly on the lookout for specific vehicles so we may continue to develop and add to our growing list of new parts for your vehicles.
If you live in the greater Southern California area and would like to volunteer your vehicle for research and development, we want to hear from you! Those who qualify for prototype test-fitment will be contacted by one of our R&D team members once the application form below is filled out. If your vehicle is chosen for our R&D, you’ll receive the first set produced and we’ll install it for free!

MGP has a comprehensive list of new vehicle platforms that are currently on demand for product development. Even if your vehicle is not listed here, you should still submit the form below, we often need additional trims, brake packages, and special editions.
Urgent Call For 2026 New Models
OEMs have rolled out major brake and wheel updates across 2026 model trucks, SUVs, performance cars, and EVs. This may sometimes include new caliper shapes, revised brake packages, and platform-specific geometry changes. We urgently need access to these 2026 models to verify clearances, capture accurate measurements, and fast-track new caliper cover fitments. If you’re one of the first to own a 2026 truck, SUV, sports car, or electric vehicle, your new ride may be critical to our R&D program.

MGP Caliper Cover R&D Program Requirements
- Vehicle’s wheels, suspension and brakes must be stock.
- Vehicle must be clean and in a fully-operational condition.
- Owner will need to deliver and pick up vehicle at MGP Caliper Covers facility at our Southern California facility located in Santee and part San Diego County.
- Owner needs to be willing to leave vehicle at MGP Caliper Covers for 1-2 business days (time required varies depending on the project and will be established prior to receiving owner’s vehicle).
- Fitment and install appointments are typically quick in-and-out visits (typically 60 minutes or less).

What Happens After You Submit
- Your submission goes to our engineering queue We review all vehicle details, photos, and notes.
- We confirm whether your vehicle is needed If your year/make/model fits an active R&D need, we’ll contact you to schedule a measurement session.
- We perform a 15–30 minute measurement at our facility No overnight stay required. We’re simply gathering data.
- We develop tooling & confirm fitment Once the product is ready, you’ll receive your complimentary set.
- If your vehicle isn’t needed right now We keep your submission on file for future updates as new fitments roll out.
