For Rick and Paula, the truck came into fruition to support their passion for outdoor recreation. Fishing trips. Remote lakes. Forest trails. Long weekends away from the pavement. What began as time spent outdoors slowly evolved into Tremor Outdoors, a content hub platform built around documenting real-world adventure and gear that earns its place through use.
Their 2025 Ford F-150 Tremor, known as Fenrir, is the showpiece that ties it all together. It is the backbone of a complete outdoor system designed for towing, exploring, camping, and filming along the way.
The Vision Behind the Build
Rick often says their motto is simple. Where the road ends, adventure begins.
That mindset shaped every decision in the build. Fenrir is built to support long-distance travel, tow their fishing boat and watercrafts to remote destinations, and provide a comfortable basecamp once they arrive.
This is not a truck modified for appearance alone. Every addition serves a purpose.
The Ford F-150 Tremor trim already offers a capable starting point, but Rick wanted a platform that could handle extended travel, varied terrain, and the added demands of towing and onboard systems.
That meant thoughtful upgrades in suspension, onboard air, lighting, and interior functionality.
A Detail That Matters
Among the many upgrades, one of the details Rick and Paula appreciate most is their custom MGP Caliper Covers.
The covers add a clean, finished look behind the wheels without changing the truck’s functional character. The fitment is precise, and the finish complements the Tremor’s rugged styling. It is a subtle touch, but one that stands out when the truck is photographed or parked at events.
For a build that balances utility and presentation, the caliper covers help tie everything together.

Suspension and Chassis
A lift system from Halo Lifts and alignment components from SPC Performance are part of the plan, with installation underway. The goal is improved ground clearance and geometry that supports both trail work and towing stability.
Onboard Air and Load Management
Pacbrake rear air springs provide improved load leveling when towing the fishing boat or hauling gear. An onboard air compressor and tank system allows for quick adjustments and tire inflation on the trail.
Exhaust Upgrade
A MagnaFlow muffler, installed by Budget Brake and Muffler, refined the factory exhaust tone. The change delivers a deeper note while maintaining cabin comfort for long highway stretches.
Lighting and Electrical
Lighting is one of the most extensive areas of the build. Fenrir features a zone-based lighting approach designed to support night driving, off-road travel, filming, and campsite setup.
Upgrades include grille lighting, interior ambient lighting, bed lighting, and illuminated emblems. Additional components are staged for installation as the project continues to evolve.
Exterior and Functional Details
Interior and exterior trim enhancements improve durability in high-use areas. Practical additions such as bed cleats and emergency tools round out the truck’s working capability.
More Than a Truck
What makes Tremor Outdoors stand out is not the parts list. It is the way the truck connects to a larger lifestyle.
Rick and Paula use Fenrir to tow their fishing boat into remote areas throughout Western Canada. They test their gear in real conditions, document the experience, and share honest feedback with their growing community.
They even produced a dedicated Ford F-150 music video that captures Fenrir’s presence on road and trail. It is a creative extension of the same passion that drives the build.
Upcoming plans include a pop-up tent project designed to expand off-grid comfort and multi-day travel capability. Like everything else on the truck, it will be selected for function first.
A Build with Purpose
Spending time around Tremor Outdoors feels less like following a build and more like catching up with friends who genuinely enjoy what they do.
Rick and Paula remain focused on refining the truck, exploring new locations, and sharing what they learn along the way. The Tremor is simply the tool that makes those experiences possible.
Fenrir proves that a well-thought-out build does not need to shout. It needs to work. And when the details are handled carefully, even something as small as a set of MGP Caliper Covers becomes part of a larger story.
Because for Rick and Paula, the goal has always been the adventure.
