Kyle’s custom Caliper Covers were engraved with the Civic logo, then professionally painted to match the vehicle. The engraved Civic logo was filled with the owner’s color of choice (black) via specially designed hand done technique!
No modifications interior or exterior. Kyle thinks there’s something to be said about a car that can be kept bone stock and still put a smile on your face.
Kyle chose this car for a few reasons. First the hatchback body style; he loves having a small efficient car that still has enough space for daily tasks and weekend camping trips. Second, he was looking specifically for new cars with a manual transmission. Nothing better than shifting through your own gears and he felt as though this was one of the last years that it’d be possible to buy a relatively affordable brand-new car with a manual.
Kyle has been a ‘car guy’ for as long as he can recall. He started with a 50cc pit bike when he was about 6 years old and couldn’t stay away from anything with an engine since then. He went on to buy his first car a year before he even got his license so he could fix it up. His choice? A 1995 5-speed Jeep Cherokee with 180 thousand miles on it. Since then, he’s gone through 8 different cars and 6 motorcycles.
I chose MGP Caliper Covers because I just liked the look more than others. I didn’t want to go with one of those covers with faux brake lines that are trying to make your basic brakes look like Brembos. I just wanted a clean look to pretty up my wheels and match the bright blue color of my car and MGP did that perfectly.
