FEBRUARY 2020 IS AMERICAN HEART MONTH!
February is American Heart Month and MGP Caliper Covers is doing its part to raise funds and awareness. This month, 5% of online sales will be donated to the American Heart Association, funding breakthrough research, advocacy, and patient support “until no more loved are lost to heart disease and stroke.” We hope you’ll join us in support of their life-saving efforts!
We all know someone affected by heart disease or stroke. For me, it was my grandfather who died at 76 from complications related to heart disease. Thanks to recent advances in emergency medicine, he lived just long enough to see my youngest cousins be born.But he should have had more time. He could have quit smoking sooner, eaten better, or lived a more active lifestyle. Recent medical advances may have improved his survivability even further. We can’t turn back the clock, but we can move forward knowing what we do now and continue funding life-saving research.
According to the CDC, more than 858,000 Americans die of heart disease, stroke, or other cardiovascular diseases each year. They are also the top killers globally. This means there is a lot of room for improvement, and small advances can make a meaningful impact on every single one of us.
We were able to raise nearly $8000 for breast cancer last October thanks to our customers’ generous support! With your help, we hope to raise even more for the American Heart Association.

Knowing the warning signs of heart attack, stroke, and cardiac arrest can help get those in crisis life-saving support when they need it.
